About us

Primo Shelties started up with a pet/companion sheltie in 1967 named "Nina".  Along with raising 2 sons & a small group of shelties began as the bug had bitten to show them.

There after we obtained Miniature Dachshunds & Mini Poodles.... thus 49 years later we have acquired over 50 sheltie champions and up to 78 total Champions including Miniature Dachshunds and Miniature Poodles.  

Memorable and notable wins include Best In Show to WB & Best of Breed ASSA National with the Most Famous  Top Specialty winning Sheltie:

Located in Northern California,  San Francisco Bay Area. 

We retain to be a small kennel, on a few acres for the dogs to run on.
